401. Farmlands

401.1 Agree on User Experience with Farmlands and Centrapay

Integration types: Farmlands

Farmlands and Centrapay want to ensure that cardholders have a smooth, consistent, and positive experience when paying via Centrapay. Agreeing on the user experience upfront reduces confusion and prevents rework.

This step must be completed before starting the integration.

How to meet it:

  • Schedule a review session with Farmlands and Centrapay to discuss the proposed payment experience.
  • Provide user flows, wireframes, or screenshots that illustrate how the payment experience will appear to users.
  • Incorporate feedback from both parties and ensure sign-off confirming the final experience meets agreed-upon requirements.

401.2 Farmlands End-to-End Testing Sign-Off

Integration types: Farmlands

Farmlands must validate the integration to ensure all payment flows, POS interactions, and related functionality perform as expected.

How to meet it:

  • Complete all required end-to-end testing to verify payment and POS processes function correctly.
  • Submit test results, evidence, or reports to Farmlands for review.
  • Obtain formal sign-off from Farmlands confirming all acceptance criteria have been met.

401.3 Apply Farmlands Discounts Only to Farmlands Payments

Integration types: Farmlands

Farmlands discounts must only be applied to transactions paid with Farmlands. Allowing discounts on other payment methods could result in incorrect pricing, reconciliation issues, or unintended financial exposure.

How to meet it:

  • Configure the integration so that Farmlands discounts are only available when the selected payment method is Farmlands.
  • Ensure the discount option is not visible or applicable when any other payment method is chosen.
  • Validate that attempts to apply Farmlands discounts using other payment types are automatically rejected or blocked.

Evidence:

  • Screenshots or recordings showing Farmlands discounts appear only when Farmlands is the selected payment method.
  • Logs or test reports confirming discounts cannot be applied to other payment methods.
